I have been visiting Sister Creek Resort on and off for 5 years and I can say that it is a great quiet place on Bull Shoals Lake. The cabins are comfortable and cozy, with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The view of the lake is amazing, especially at sunrise and sunset. You can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, or just sitting on the porch and watching the wildlife. The resort is also close to some attractions, such as the Bull Shoals-White River State Park and the Mountain Village 1890. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they always make me feel welcome. This is a great place to unplug and recharge, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I highly recommend Sister Creek Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. I will definitely be back for sure!

We were looking for a quiet spot on a more secluded part of Bull Shoals Lake away from the busy population centers. Sister Creek Resort was perfect for us. Located on a hillside overlooking Bull Shoals Lake, the view was spectacular. A short drivway leads down to the lake and the resort's private boat dock. Relaxing at the end of the day on the lake in the immaculate swimming pool was also a pleasure. Rooms are basic, but clean and nicely appointed. Clint and Sarah were the perfect hosts, taking every opportunity to make you feel welcome and at home in their resort. The lake offers excellent fishing, and Sister Creek would be a perfect spot to serve as a base for fishing or water sports in general. As mentioned, the resort is definitiely off the beaten path, which for us, added to its charm and appeal. Glad we found it and looking forward to another visit.
I've been to Sister Creek several times and love it! A fantastic place to relax and reconnect with nature. The owners are great people; friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms or cabins are clean and comfortable. And the price is very reasonable. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a 5 star resort. The decor is a little old but I'm not paying 5 star prices either. Sister Creek gives me just what I want; a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, relaxing, fun and safe vacation. And the kids really love it!
Sister Creek Resort is simply amazing. My children and I love being here. It's beautiful and simple living up here. Family friendly but also great for just couples wanting to get away to somewhere peaceful. 09/21/19 stayed again this weekend and had a blast. The owners are amazing and the views too.
I spent almost a week here with my wife, three daughters and two dogs at the end of July 2018. This is a great place to enjoy Bull Shoals, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family friendly place to stay. The views of the lake are spectacular. They also have a large dock down a gravel hill where you can fish, swim or dock your boat. The dock is lighted and is an easy place to fish. It has a swimming platform at the end where my kids loved to swim. We also snorkeled next to the rocks and cliffs along shore and the water was very clear. You can walk to the dock. My daughters timed it, and it took them about 6 minutes to walk down, and about 8 minutes to walk up. You can also drive your car down to the dock. It is a little steep at the bottom of the hill with some loose gravel, but we were in a mini van and did not have any problems. The owners are great! My wife had some work she needed to do while we were there, and she needed a strong wifi signal. They gave her access to the office and let her work in there anytime she needed to be online. I have vacationed at Bull Shoals several times since the early 90s. This is by far my favorite place I have stayed. We will be back.
Our Fall visit to Bull Shoals was completely enjoyable even though the temperatures were warm and therefore the fish bite was limited. BTW I loved the warm weather. The comfort of our private cabin with all the necessary amenities made our stay comfortable. Sarah and Clint (owners) were quick to help us with anything we needed. We look forward to our stay in the spring.
